Batsho Dambe-Groth has a BSc degree in Applied Psychology specialising in Occupational Psychology from the University of Wales Institute of Science and Technology and has been working in the field of human resources for over 30 years. With over 15 years corporate experience in mining, parastatals, insurance and financial services sectors, she gained extensive skills in corporate culture building, human resources management, organisational design and operational efficiencies, performance-based remuneration and compensation, executive and strategic management, and employee relations including engaging with unions.
Batsho has in depth understanding of the local Botswana business, organisational cultural environment and employment regulations and a strong appreciation of international best practice principles through some years spent in the UK and the US. She is the recipient of the prestigious US Department of State Humphrey Fellowship under the Fulbright Programme, where she spent a sabbatical in the human resources industry in the United States in 2010/2011.
Batsho is also one of the few people in Botswana qualified as a Global Remuneration Professional from World at Work Society of Certified Professionals (USA). She is supported by a small skilled workforce and often works in collaboration with other human resource and business consulting specialists to incorporate a larger pool of expertise for various projects as necessary.
Using best practice interventions, Batsho facilitates her programmes and projects with dynamism and enthusiasm to ensure maximum retention of the leverage areas developed and implemented.
Lahliwe Mabena has a BCom Honours degree in Industrial Psychology from the University of Stellenbosch; and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Botswana. She has over 10 years of experience in the human resource industry; with experience as an Assessment Centre Manager, Human Resources Manager and currently as an Assistant Consultant with Resource Logic.
She has worked on several projects; analysing and designing organisational and salary structures, as well as reviewing and developing new job descriptions. Using salary survey data, she assists in the development and review of new salary structures for private, parastatal and non-profit organisations across a range of diverse business sectors.
